  1. What wonderful photos of your handfasting! Love the horse's head and your red running shoes, LOL! Your bridal bouquet is gorgeous. What were the colourful lilies made of -- were they origami? Sweet two-tier wedding cake too!

Your right arm script tattoo caught my eye as well. I adore tats and always want to know the stories behind them. Will you share what your tattoo says and why you chose it?

    1. Thank you! They were indeed origami - by Lily Belle Keepsakes on Etsy. The wedding cake was made by one of the groom's oldest friends.

My tattoo is a selection of lines from Neil Gaiman's poem Instructions: "Trust the wolves, but do not tell them where you are going. Remember that witches are betrayed by their appetites, that giants sleep too soundly, that dragons have one soft spot, somewhere, always. Trust ghosts. Trust dreams. Trust your heart, and trust your story." I'm actually getting it embellished later this month which I'm excited about. I chose it for a number of reasons, mostly relating to my lifelong love of fairy tales and folklore. It's a great poem and I did consider getting the whole thing!
